Twitter users have massively criticized American rapper Cardi B for the way she is replying to internet trolls leaving mean comments on her page.

Replying to a hater who commented about her beef with fellow rapper Nicki Minaj, the 26-year-old mother of one wrote:

“Throw yourself off a f**king balcony …You need to cut your f**king veins. You people need help.”

Cardi B described more than one way for online trolls to commit suicide, despite someone off-screen appearing to tell the rapper to stop.

“I know I shouldn’t be talking, but it’s just, like, you know how I get when people start with Hennessy,” Cardi B said.

More than 40,000 people were tuned into her NSFW live stream, and many took to social media to slam her controversial remarks as “triggering,” “disgusting” and “insane.”

Twitter user @LOSINGGRIP called Cardi B’s behaviour “disgusting,” adding “someone with such a large sphere of influence” shouldn’t encourage suicide and self-harm.

Another user agreed, adding: “It takes one suicide ‘joke’ to push somebody over the edge. Cardi has a huge following, you don’t think anybody’s gonna hear that and think ‘ya know what? maybe I should.’ ”

“Telling people to [commit] suicide is just insane, Cardi has to stop it,” another person wrote.
