And then the Mundari in South Sudan.
Why has cattle herding become such a bloody affair in Africa?
Why do African herdsmen need to carry weapons?
Why would someone kill a fellow human to protect a cow?
Valued at over $500, it is easy to believe cattle is a prized asset, but are these domesticated ungulates of more value than a human?
Many fingers point to the suggestion that there is more than meets the eye in this strange relationship between African herdsmen and their cows.
I have given a thought to this many atimes.
